Champu ~ Shampoo

Today was the first day we made shampoo. We used natural aloe vera, the tea, and Achoite from the park.

Hoy fue la primera dia hicimos champu. Usamos aloe vera, te, y Achoite del parque.

Last Saturday (January 19) my Spanish teacher came to the park with me to learn to make soap! 

We made one pound! 

El sabado pasado (Enero 19) mi profesor de espanol llego al parque con mi aprender a hacer jabon!

Painting the Boutique / Pintar la Boutique

Today was a tough day. It was super hot and lots of mosquito, the painting is almost finished! 4 pounds of soap tomorrow!

La Boutique

We started making the boutique for the Corazon del Mundo products. We used a  green recycled plastic tarp for the walls and will be painting the wood areas pink, which are the colors of the logo. 

The wood parts will be painted pink!!!

The first batch of lotion is complete. We made 10 bottles. To make lotion you need water, oil (we used olive and almond), wax (we used bees wax), stearic acid. The lotion turned out good but still remains with some liquid so on Friday we will make another batch and try a different formula.  

La primera tanda de locion esta terminada. Hicimos 10 botellas para hacer locion neceistas, agua, aceite (usamos aceite de oliva y almendra), cera de abeja y acido estearico. La locion se esta haciendo bien pero todavia esta muy liquida. Asi que el viernes hacemas otra tandra y problavemos una formula nuva.
