JABON - SOAP

The process of making soap is very easy once learned. It can be dangerous because you are working with Sodium Hydroxide, "Lye." 
We used honey from the park and a fruit called Achiote. We also used Acai seeds for decoration.
I have 2 students that I am teaching to take over the project when I leave, Leslie and Ruby.

El proceso de hacer jabon es muy facil, pero el proceso puede ser peligroso. El peligro es porque necesita un quimico llamado Hidroxido de Sodio. 
Nosotros usamos  la miel del parque como ingrediente y aroma , la fruta de Achiote para el intenso color y semillas de Asai para la decoracion
Yo tengo 2 estudiantes indegenas del Amazonas que aprenden el proceso de el jabon, el champu, y la crema/locion. Ellas se harán cargo del proyecto cuando yo salga. Sus nombres son Leslie y Ruby.

  1. Hi Amanda, I see you with a big leaf! Perhaps you can make some Big Leaf Tea with it! Mmmmmm good!

    It looks like the project is moving forward. Maybe you can post some pics of where you stay and the village and some Amazon animals. I like the shot of the little monkey with the giant claws. What's his name?
